the Challenge

Proposed redesign of a coffee bag which conveys
the company motto; strength, stability, abundance and democracy. Maka's Coffee owner comes from
a family of coffee farmers in Cameroon Africa. Happy Face, a single origin coffee from Columbian beans has tasting notes of raisin, chocolate, bourbon cater and typical. Happy Face is a bold medium roast coffee.

 

the Solution

Complementing Maka's bold signature colors I chose an illustration of the African Cape Buffalo. The male Cape Buffalo is the largest buffalo in Southeast Africa. The horns curve inward and possess the strength to defend against lions. It is the female buffalos which show democratic voting behavior. They will sit in the direction they would like to travel, shuffling their positions until the group majority is facing the same way. This becomes
the direction they then will travel in. The herds will

often travel in large numbers, and stick together
to defend each other.

 

The results intended to increase brand awareness and engagement.

the Solution

Create social media campaigns that take the audience on an emotive journey by conveying simple nuances of the unique slashie atmosphere   
of this neighbourhood wine shop/wine bar. Using Juice@1340's own original casual photography along with playful typography to remind patrons
of the upcoming events at the shop/bar.

Saints and Angels imagery in contrast to the wine bar was spiritual, transcendental and used vibrant colors to reflect the peaceful, relaxing and healing atmosphere of a sound bath led by Peter Canellis. Emoting the feeling of the powerful, ancient ritual
to deeply relax and connect to your inner self.

The results increased internet audience growth and brick and mortar audience site by 10% for Juice and 7% for Saints and Angels.

the Challenge

Design a print ad to that fits in with an existing series of ads for a nasal and sinus doctors office.

 

Experts at the Northwestern Medicine Sinus and Allergy Center specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of nasal and sinus conditions that may or may not be related to allergies. Their goal is
to help manage and treat your allergy symptoms to improve your quality of life.

Create compelling and visually strong designs/layouts within a tight deadline while maintaining a high level of creativity and innovation.

the Solution

A typographic play on seeking out professional help
to determine a current condition of nasal cavity

and sinus congestion. Typographically resolved by closing the counters in the word allergy.

Design an annual that reflects the company's

global presence. Corn Products International

creates innovation sweeteners, starches and nutritional ingredients as well as biomaterials. 

Convey how the brand maximizes value through

formulating new consumer food preferences.

The proposed design was intended to promote
the brand to excite and attract new investors.

the Solution

Design an annual report which uses modern
typography, and reflects the global reach
of the company. The annual stands to reflect
the continued growth of the company, through

acquisitions that helped reach new customers
and reinvigorate our existing customers.

Through the use of their signature green color,
bold typography and humorous photography
showing the various products produced
like animal nutrition, beauty and home products,
paper
/corrugated paper products, beverages and innovative food ingredient solutions.

Proposed design for a fictitious real estate company. The redesign of the print memorandum

and printed for sale listing sheets for the six unit

apartment building. Also digital designs to attract
a wide attention span of investors/buyers.

the Solution

Social media marketing included a landing page and banner ads of various sizes. Ads designed
to appear in high-traffic locations on web pages,
to create brand awareness and generate click-throughs and leads. High-visibility locations include the front, bottom, or the side of a web page, places where the eyes of browsers usually wander. 

 

The goal to generate excitement for the listed property, and bring additional buyers to the real estate company's website.
